• Language pair (source and target languages);
• Translation from foreign or into foreign language;

• Complexity of the text, including terminology. Complexity is preliminary assessed when the order is placed. During the fulfillment of the order, this assessment may be made more precisely.
• Timeframes (urgency) of translation;
• Necessity of linguistic editing*;
• Complexity of graphical layout or lack of it (page layout, table construction, scanning of graphical elements);
• Illegible handwriting (in case of a written source document) will increase the order price by 35-50%.
• Additional requirements of a customer.

*Technical editing of the text includes verification and proofreading to be performed by the professional editor with advanced subject area expertise in order to eliminate terminology and other translation inaccuracies.

*Style editing is an alteration of the translation in order to make it more natural for the country where it is planned to be used or published. Such editing is mainly used for the texts intended for a large audience. In such cases editing is performed by a native speaker of the target language with expertise in particular subject areas.

The following consideration must be taken into account when ordering:

• Cost of translation is based on the cost of 1 standard page which is 1800 characters with spaces and punctuation marks. Microsoft Word is used to count characters.
• Translation average daily rate is 6-8 depending on the language pair. It does not include ordering time and delivery days. • Urgency surcharges. 50 - 100% is surcharged for urgent translations. Only working days are taken into account: order fulfillment period does not include weekends and public holidays, as well as ordering time and delivery days.
