Our translators and editors can manage your projects in several computer-aided translation (CAT) tools including TRADOS Workbench, Star TRANSIT, SDLX and DejaVu.

CAT or Computer-Aided Translation is also called "interactive translation" and is intended for professional translators who are already fluent in the two languages they are translating. The CAT tools often include terminology management and translation memory to enhance efficiency and accuracy of translation, especially in larger documents.

The translation memory is a database that stores words and phrases that a translator has already translated. The next time, the translator come across the same word or phrase, the database looks up the word and automatically gives a choice of using the same translation again. It saves time and, most importantly, keeps the terminology consistent throughout the entire document. This is especially useful for larger translation jobs in which more than one translator are working on the same project.
